Travel to and in the Caucasus

It is possible to get to Prielbrusya area from the towns of Mineralnye Vody and Nalchik. To reach these towns, one may take scheduled flights from Moscow, St Petersburg and some other Russian cities. Frequent flights: Moscow - Mineralnye Vody. Also, St Petersburg - Mineralnye Vody and Munich (Germany) Mineralnye Vody direct flights. Much less frequent: Moscow to Nalchik direct.


There are several charter flights from Saloniki, Dubai, Pafos, Tel-Aviv, Shardga but those flights can be cancelled at any time due to the luck of passengers.

 

The Air Companies operating to the destination:

- Aeroflot;

- Siberian Airways (S7);

- KMV Airlines;

- Pulkovo Airlines.

Also there is train connection from the main Russian cities to Mineralnye Vody and Nalchik.

From Mineralnye Vody it is about 3-3,5 hours driving and from Nalchik it is about 2,5 hours driving to Terskol.

There are no regular buses from Mineralnye Vody, so it is necessary to book private bus for a group or a car for individuals.

There are two scheduled minibuses operating from Nalchik to Terskol.
